The delicate orange cream is perfect when you need something quick. The dessert with cream and mascarpone is prepared in no time and simply tastes delicious!
Add orange juice to a pot. whisk 3 Tbsp of it in a measuring cup with vanilla pudding powder. Then add this mixture together with the sugar back to the orange juice. Bring the orange‑pudding mixture to a boil while stirring, cook briefly longer and then remove from heat.
Let the mixture cool, stirring every few minutes so no pudding skin forms. Whip the cream until stiff. Mix mascarpone with vanilla sugar, stir in the pudding mixture. Finally fold in the whipped cream.
Prepare six dessert glasses of 200 ml each. Fill the orange cream into the glasses. Decorate with orange zest if desired and serve chilled.
