Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F) and grease the baking sheet.
Beat the softened butter and add the vegetable oil until the mixture is creamy.
Stir in sugar, powdered sugar, the egg, and vanilla extract into the butter‑oil mixture.
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and the chai tea bag (contents) and add everything to the wet mixture, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
Cover the dough and chill it for about an hour.
Place the prepared sheet ready and spread dough portions about 1 Tablespoon (≈12 tsp) each onto it evenly.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes, until lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool completely, then brush them with the glaze.
