A delightful twist on classic iced tea, infused with citrus flavors for a refreshing beverage.
Heat 4 cups of water in a microwave-safe measuring cup until boiling.
Microwave the water in intervals to avoid overheating.
Add the tea bags to the hot water and let them steep for 5-10 minutes.
Cover the measuring cup to retain the heat while steeping.
Juice the lemon and orange, and set the juice aside.
Roll the citrus fruits on the counter before juicing to extract more juice.
Pour the sugar into a pitcher and add the hot tea. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less sugar.
Add the citrus juice and 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well.
Taste the tea and adjust the citrus juice if needed.
Chill the tea in the refrigerator until very cold. Serve over ice.
Garnish with a slice of lemon or orange for a decorative touch.
